If I remember correctly we are having a LOT more bright, sunny days this spring than last. I didn't even start taking pictures until May last year; we were having those endless grey drizzly days that do not serve well for photography.
After having some rather good luck I was racing to the film developing place. On my way I passed the pond at Locarno and couldn't resist snapping some colourful ducks.
As the tide begins it's low cycle for the summer season, a feeding frenzy starts at the beach. Also, judging by 'my' eagles, they have already begun nesting. There is one sitting full-time in the nest while the other either keeps watch or hunts for both of them.
This shot is from a bit of a distance so it's not entirely satisfying, but I do like the rugged naturalness of it.
