As I said before, I like it when I happen to look up at the right moment and get to capture something just by luck. Especially on the days when I'm out there for a couple of hours and don't see a single eagle.
These pics were taken, I think, in August. I was at Jericho Beach right beside the wharf at the Sailing Centre where I often found Baby. I didn't see him and in scanning the sky saw something pass right over me.
It's an Osprey, and I really like the timing of this shot because it's looking at me just as I clicked.
Immediately afterwards it loses interest, knowing I can't be breakfast. Too bad I just clipped it's right wing outside the frame, but I'm glad I managed to get something useful, in focus.
